  • 1994 Diploma in Commercial Studies, “G. Leopardi” Institute, Lecce

  • 2002 ECDL(European Computer Driving License) Certificate, “De Matteis” Institute, Maglie(LE)

  • 2004 Diploma in specialization in sound/video shot engineer at the “Civic School of cinema and television” in Milan

  • 26/11/2004 Graduated in D.A.M.S (section: cinema) from the University of Bologna. Degree thesis: “The evolution of the usage of the television”. At the University I took part to some seminars held by well-known film an theatre directors such as Peter Brook, Judith Manila, Eugenio Barba and his actors of the Odin, J. Grotowskj, Luca Ronconi.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Summer 1994: Documentary director of “Clima secco”“Dry climate”

  • From January to April 1997: Cinema course organized by the “Centro giovanile giardini Margherita arte”, Bologna,  held by G. Mingardi: 15 theory-practice lessons about  scenario, shooting, photography and direction, with the realization of a final short film "Sono io".

  • October 1997: Director of the film ”Amanita”.

  •  From October 1998 to 2000 : actor and collaborator at the company “Gibus Teatro” in Bologna in the plays: “La signorina Julie”“ Miss Julie” of A. Strindberg (direction: V. Cantoni); “Metropop” metro tale inspired to the “Dream” of A. Strindberg (direction: Livia Gionfrida): “Il Pilade” of P. P. Pasolini (direction: V. Cantoni)

  • Summer 1998 : Director of the short  “I volti del salento”“The different sides of the Salento”

  • 1999: Director of the documentary “La voce del mare in inverno”“The voice of the in winter”

  • Summer 1999: cinema seminar held by Sandro De Pascalis (cinema operator steadycam) about the usage of the natural light in the interior and on location shootings

  • From September 2000 to September 2002: collaborator and documentary-film maker, (together with the Director V. Cantoni) of the experimental theatre  project which involved  Down children. We realized about 70 hours shooting that will be in the final documentary

  • Summer 2000: shooting operator, art-director and sound-recordist  in direct shooting for the two films “Offresi posto letto” and “Passpartout per l’inferno” (shoot in digitale) of the Director Federico Rizzo
